Etherea draw from the well of tradition with “Water”

Tradition is alive and evolving – and few capture this better than Etherea. The band brings together musicians from across genres, united by a shared passion for Bulgarian folk. Blending jazz, funk, rock, ambient and psychedelic influences, they craft a richly layered sound that feels both timeless and contemporary.

In under a year, Etherea have already built a loyal following and recently unveiled their third single, “Voda” (“Water”), created in collaboration with producer Ivan Shopov and vocalist Asya Pincheva.

Rooted in traditional folk material, “Voda” is arranged by Simona Stanoeva and Asya Pincheva, with its distinctive sound further shaped by Ivan Shopov, Kaloyan Paunov and Zhaklin Dishliev.
