The Bulgarian people have spoken, and we congratulate Rumen Radev and Progressive Bulgaria on their victory, a statement by the US Embassy in Sofia reads. “We look forward to working with the new government to advance our bilateral relationship and further strengthen the close ties between the American and Bulgarian people,” the embassy added.
India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated Rumen Radev and his Progressive Bulgaria on their victory in the recent parliamentary elections in Bulgaria.
After
the meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg, when asked to
comment on the results of the snap parliamentary elections in
Bulgaria, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security
Policy Kaja Kallas
said: “I think it is important that everybody comes to this table
with a genuine interest in cooperation and also compromise because it
requires compromising for everybody. And I think in the beginning
everybody is treated with equal welcoming of new colleagues around
the table to have agreements and cooperation with."
