At the Ruse-Giurgiu border crossing, repair work is being carried out on the Bulgarian section of the bridge. Traffic is regulated in one lane. Modernization of the first-class road in the area of ​​the “Kalotina” border crossing has begun. For the implementation of construction activities, from April 22, traffic will be limited and traffic will pass in one lane. The estimated completion date for the activities is by mid-July. Traffic through the remaining border crossings in the country is normal.

Over the past 24 hours, there were 18 serious accidents in the country and 23 people were injured, but there were no deaths, the Traffic Police reported. Since the beginning of the month, there have been 288 serious accidents in the country, 362 people have been injured, and 18 died. There have been 1,530 serious road accidents since the beginning of the year. 1,907 people have been injured and 109 died.
