On Thursday, clouds will gradually clear, bringing sunnier spells to much of the country. However, rain will linger in the mountains and southwestern areas. Morning temperatures will be chilly, ranging from 2°C to 7°C, with around 3°C expected in Sofia. Frost is likely in parts of the north-east.

As the day progresses, skies will become partly sunny in many areas. Southwestern Bulgaria will remain cloudier, with rain easing off later. Moderate winds from the west-northwest will occasionally be strong across the Danube Plain and parts of the Upper Thracian Plain. Maximum temperatures will range from 14°C to 19°C, reaching around 13°C in Sofia.

Along the Black Sea coast, the clouds will break up with a chance of brief showers. Temperatures will range from 14 to 16°C, with sea water at around 12–13°C and mild sea conditions.

In the mountains, it will remain cloudy with rain and snow at higher elevations. Maximum temperatures will be around 5°C at 1,200 metres and -2°C at 2,000 metres.

On Friday, conditions will improve with more sunshine, though isolated showers will remain possible in the mountains. Temperatures will rise, exceeding 20°C in lower areas.

Across the Balkans, it will stay mostly cloudy with rain easing in the south by late Thursday. It will be cooler than usual for late April, with windy conditions in many places.
