Ukraine hopes Bulgaria will maintain support, minister says

Ukraine hopes that Bulgaria will continue to support it in a variety of areas, said Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.

“We want to believe that the direction of good neighbourly relations will be preserved and that Sofia’s position will remain unchanged in supporting Ukraine on many fronts, from territorial integrity to our European Union membership,” Sybiha told reporters, quoted by Ukrinform and BTA.

He added that all EU member states are committed to the bloc’s common foreign policy and confirmed that Ukraine remains open to cooperation within that framework.
