Relic of New Martyr Lazarus of Bulgaria to arrive in Sofia

A relic of the Holy New Martyr Lazarus of Bulgaria will be brought to Sofia on April 22 for public veneration, with the blessing of His Holiness Daniil, Patriarch of Bulgaria and Metropolitan of Sofia.

The relic will arrive from the Monastery of St Nicholas the Wonderworker on the Greek island of Andros.

It will be displayed for veneration at the St Nedelya Metropolitan Cathedral in central Sofia on April 22 and 23, with the support of the Orthodox Heritage Foundation, based in Geneva.
