A Bulgarian cultural association in Germany will hold a “Bulgarian Yoghurt Day” in the city of Jena on May 2, organisers said.
The event, scheduled to begin at 5PM local time at StadtLab Jena, will feature a screening of the documentary I, the Lactobacillus by Svetlana Lazarova, dedicated to the traditional Bulgarian product, as well as demonstrations of yoghurt-making and knowledge-sharing sessions.
A buffet with homemade food will be offered, and there will be a stand serving Bulgarian wine. Admission will be free.
The event is part of the annual Bulgarian Cultural Days organised by the Bulgarian-German association L. bulgaricus in Jena, which include folklore performances, classical concerts, exhibitions, readings, as well as film and theatre events, according to Evgenia Karadineva-Marx, a member of the association, quoted by BTA.
