Mostly cloudy weather expected on Friday

During the night and on Friday, it will be windy, with a moderate wind and temporarily strong gusts from the west-northwest in the Danubian Plain and Eastern Bulgaria. Cloud cover will be variable, decreasing before noon to mostly sunny weather. The lowest temperatures will range between 4°C and 9°C, around 6°C in Sofia. Maximum temperatures will be between 16°C and 21°C, around 17°C in the capital city.

In the mountains, cloudiness will be variable, often decreasing to mostly sunny conditions. There will be a moderate to strong west-northwesterly wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be around 11°C, at 2,000 m around 4°C.

Along the Black Sea coast, cloudiness will be variable, decreasing to mostly sunny conditions. There will be a moderate, temporarily strong west-northwesterly wind. Daytime highs will range between 14°C and 17°C. The seawater temperature is 12°C–13°C. Sea state 2–3 on the Beaufort scale.

Over the weekend, it will be mostly sunny with temporary increases in cloud cover. The chance of precipitation will be low. Temperatures will continue to rise, and on Sunday lows will be between 5°C and 10°C, while highs will be between 20°C and 25°C.
