Camping & Caravaning Expo 2026 is taking place in Sofia

The Camping & Caravaning Expo 2026 exhibition began today and will continue until Sunday in the park area of the former Sofia Land. The event is organized by Camping.bg, BTA reported.

The forum is being held for the 12th consecutive year. In this edition, 99 exhibitors from Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, and Germany are participating. Camper vans, caravans, tourism vehicles, and a variety of products for camping, water sports, cycling, and outdoor activities are on display.

The organizers of the exhibition note that interest in camping tourism in Bulgaria has been steadily increasing in recent years. Currently, there are over 200 campsites in the country, about 35% of which are located along the Black Sea coast, while the rest are inland, according to Camping.bg founder Veselin Valev.
