Panoramic viewing platform at Vitosha Mountain will reveal a view of Sofia

A panoramic platform will be built in the “Kopitoto” area on Vitosha Mountain - the mountain at whose foothills the Bulgarian capital Sofia is located. It has been designed by experts from the Vitosha Nature Park Directorate, while the Sofia Municipality will take on its funding and implementation, the municipality’s press center announced last week.

The space will offer new opportunities for recreation and will reveal one of the most beautiful views of the capital.

The initiative is part of the program of Sofia’s mayor Vasil Terziev, “Vision for Vitosha,” which aims to make the mountain a place where Sofia’s residents can spend more meaningful time in nature and engage in sports.
