Bulgarian wrestlers win six medals at the European Championships in Tirana

concluded its participation at the European Wrestling Championships
in Tirana with a silver medal for Akhmed Bataev, who lost 3:5 to Ali
Tsokaev of Azerbaijan in the final of the 92 kg freestyle category.
The national team finished the competition with six medals, including
Kiril Milov's gold in the Greco-Roman style in the 97 kg category,
silver medals for Bataev and Semen Novikov, as well as three more
bronze medals. Bataev reached a dramatic victory over world
vice-champion Amanula Gadzhimagomedov in the semifinals of the
tournament, after taking two points in the last second and winning
3:2.
