Sofia to host conference on drones, countermeasures

An international conference on unmanned aerial and robotic systems, and ways to counter them, will be held at the Georgi S. Rakovski Military Academy in Sofia on April 28–29, the defence ministry said. Chief of Defence Admiral Emil Eftimov is due to open the event.

The discussions will focus on the latest trends in the development and use of drones and robotic systems, their impact on military capabilities, and the challenges and solutions involved in countering such technologies.
