Customs officers in Burgas have seized 3.6 million smuggled cigarettes hidden in a truck and semi-trailer arriving by ferry from Batumi, prosecutors said.
The cargo had been declared as textile mattresses, but an inspection revealed that various brands of cigarette had been hidden inside the rolls and wrapped in insulating foil.
