Intense truck traffic at Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo border checkpoints

Traffic remains extremely heavy at the Kapitan Andreevo and Lesovo border checkpoints on the border with Türkiye for outbound freight vehicles, the Border Police reported.

At the border with Romania, traffic is normal at all crossing points. At Ruse–Giurgiu, repair works are underway on the Bulgarian section of the bridge over the Danube River, and traffic is being regulated in a single lane. Traffic is normal at the borders with Greece, North Macedoniaa and Serbia.

As of April 30, traffic will be restricted in the Burgas-bound lane in two five-kilometer sections of the Trakia Motorway in the Yambol region—from kilometer 272 to 277, and from kilometer 282 to 287. Traffic will be carried out in both directions in the Sofia-bound lane, the Road Infrastructure Agency announced. The deadline for completing the repair works is the end of May.
