President Iotova is in Armenia for meeting of the European Political Community

President Iliana Iotova’s visit to Armenia continues. She is participating in the 8th Summit of the European Political Community, which opens in Yerevan on May 4, the press service of the head of state reported. Iotova will participate in discussion on the impact of the Vertical Gas Corridor on regional energy security.

On Sunday, May 3, President Iliana Iotova and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan signed a joint declaration on strategic partnership between Sofia and Yerevan. The two highlighted the high level of political dialogue between the two countries and added that there is a lot of untapped potential for the development of bilateral relations in a number of areas, such as economy, energy, security and defence.
