Border traffic is normal, truck traffic towards Türkiye is intense

Truck traffic towards Türkiye at the “Kapitan Andreevo” border crossing is intense. On the borders with Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania, traffic is normal at all border crossings. At the “Ruse – Giurgiu” crossing, repair work is being carried out on the Bulgarian section of the bridge over the Danube River and traffic is regulated in one lane.

One person died in an accident in the country in the past 24 hours. A total of 21 people were injured in 12 serious accidents across the country, the Traffic Police reported. Since the beginning of the year, there have been 1,755 accidents with 134 deaths and 2,199 injuries. Compared to the same period in 2025, the number of deaths on the roads is 15 more.
