PB to submit proposals to address soaring prices, says Rumen Radev

We have no illusions about the crises and challenges facing the government — soaring prices, the budget, lack of reforms, a severe global energy crisis, and escalating conflicts, said the leader of “Progressive Bulgaria”, Rumen Radev, in his speech before Parliament.

“Our majority gives us the opportunity to pass our own legislative proposals, but we will take into account the constructive contribution of the opposition”, Rumen Radev said.

He added that proposals addressing soaring prices and amendments to the Judiciary System Act will be tabled on Monday. Regarding Bulgaria’s budget, Rumen Radev stated that “Progressive Bulgaria” aims to change the deficit without changing taxes. “We will carry out an analysis of the country’s financial situation and hidden deficit, as well as an analysis of optimization opportunities. We will also determine how much and what type of debt we will take on”, said Rumen Radev.
