The
chair of the parliamentary group of “Progressive Bulgaria” (PB),
Petar Vitanov, rejected the comparisons according to which Rumen
Radev has similarities with former Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor
Orbán. “One cannot draw a parallel between Viktor Orbán and Rumen
Radev, but rather there is a parallel between Péter Magyar and
Radev. The societies in both countries were looking for a fundamental
change in the government,” Vitanov told “Nova TV”.
He
also commented on the 10-year agreement with Ukraine, which was
signed by the caretaker government of Andrey Gyurov. “Ratification
of the agreement is not necessary given its specificity, as it
is not an international treaty,” the chairman of the parliamentary
group of the ruling PB said. “The agreement is not broadly binding.
This is a Memorandum of Intent. It is difficult to do anything about
it,” Petar Vitanov added.
