On May 13, Plovdiv will host the National Olympic Games for Teachers – an event that focuses on active lifestyles, teamwork and the role of teachers as inspirers of healthy habits among children and young people. The event will be held at the Plovdiv Youth Center and is part of MOVE Month, coordinated by BG Be Active in support of Plovdiv's candidacy for European Capital of Sport 2028.

The initiative will involve teams of teachers from Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia, who will go through a series of fun and dynamic relay games, promoting movement, cooperation and a positive atmosphere in the school community. The games aim to show that active teachers are a key factor in building active schools and a healthier environment for students.
