Traffic through Bulgaria’s border crossings and checkpoint facilities with neighbouring countries is proceeding without disruption. According to information published on the website of the General Directorate “Border Police” of the Ministry of Interior as of 6:00 a.m., traffic at all border checkpoints with Türkiye is normal.

At the crossings with Greece - Rudozem, Zlatograd, Makaza, and Ivaylovgrad —\- passenger cars and minibuses weighing up to 3.5 tons are permitted to pass, while passenger vehicles, buses, and freight trucks are crossing through Kulata, Ilinden, and Kapitan Petko Voyvoda checkpoints.

Traffic through the checkpoints with the Republic of North Macedonia and Serbia is also normal.

This morning, repair works are being carried out on the Bulgarian section of the Ruse-Giurgiu bridge crossing on the border with Romania, where traffic is currently being regulated.
