Traffic at border checkpoints with neighbouring countries is normal, according to data from the Border Police General Directorate.

Traffic is normal at all border crossing points along the border with Türkiye, as well as at all checkpoints on the borders with North Macedonia and Serbia.

At the border crossings with Greece — “Rudozem”, “Zlatograd”, “Makaza” and “Ivaylovgrad” — passenger cars and minibuses up to 3.5 tonnes are allowed to pass. At “Kulata”, “Ilinden” and “Kapitan Petko Voyvoda”, passenger cars, buses, and freight vehicles are passing through.

At the border with Romania, traffic is normal at all crossing points. Repair works are underway on the Bulgarian section of the bridge at the Ruse–Giurgiu border crossing, and traffic is being regulated.
