‘Counting the Stars’ marks a new chapter for Dara Ekimova

Singer Dara Ekimova has been counting the stars – or so the title of her latest song suggests.

“Counting the Stars” was not just a spontaneous release, but a real statement piece, Dara said, explaining that it marked a period of important inner transition. The new track will also play a key role in her upcoming album, due for release soon.

Dara co-wrote the lyrics with Venci Venc and the music with KAY BE, who also produced and arranged the song.

According to the creative team behind “Counting the Stars”, the track is a romantic pop-trap confession about how, in our constant need to be right, we often miss what matters most. When that happens, all that is left is to “count stars”.
