The three-day folklore festival, which will continue until May 17, is held under the motto “Libe le, libe hubavo,” and is hosted by the “Lazarka” ensemble in Munich, led by Plamen Petkov. The festival program will continue over the next two days, and on Sunday (May 17), the initiative “The Great Horo Dance” will take place at Max-Joseph-Platz square in the Bavarian capital.

Created in 2015 by the dance group “Ot Izvora” in Lyon, France, the festival was inspired by the desire for Bulgarian dance groups living and creating outside Bulgaria’s borders to meet, exchange experience, and connect through the magic of dance.
