Truck traffic towards Türkiye is intense

Truck traffic in the direction of Türkiye at the "Kapitan Andreevo" border crossing is intense, the Border Police reported. The traffic through all other border crossings with Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania is normal. At the Ruse-Giurgiu border checkpoint, repair work is being carried out on the Bulgarian section of the bridge over the Danube River and traffic is regulated in one lane. From 8 a.m. on May 18 to 8 a.m. on May 20, the organization of traffic will be temporarily changed on a section of the first-class road I-1 Sofia - Kulata before the "Kulata" border crossing, the press center of the Road Infrastructure Agency reported.

From May 18 to 20, the organization of traffic on sections of the Struma Motorway in the region of Kyustendil will be temporarily changed, the Road Infrastructure Agency also announced. During the week, repairs will be carried out at km 53 in the lane in the direction of Blagoevgrad. Traffic will be restricted in the active and emergency lanes and vehicles will be redirected to the overtaking lane.
