The Council of Ministers will create an organizational system for Bulgaria’s future hosting of the Eurovision Song Contest, Minister of Culture Evtim Miloshev has told BNT. According to the competition regulations, after the victory of singer Dara, Bulgaria will host the next edition of the forum in 2027.

“Bulgaria will do well – choosing a venue, security, logistics, marketing and advertising. The Bulgarian hosting of Eurovision will be at the same level as the Austrian one,” Miloshev said. He also commented on the desire of Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas to host Eurovision 2027. “Undoubtedly, the capital city and the opportunities it provides are leading. But what happened – three other large cities that ambitiously declared interest is a good sign,” the minister said. According to him, the most reasonable thing is to consider all the options and then make the final decision.
