Partly cloudy with showers mainly in the mountains

On Tuesday, the lowest temperatures will be between 9°C and 12°C, for Sofia 9°C. During the day, the weather will be mostly cloudy. Around and after noon, there will be rain showers in some places in southern Bulgaria and in the mountains, accompanied by thunderstorms. It will remain windy in Northern Bulgaria. Maximum temperatures will range from 19°C to 24°C, around 20°C in the capital city.

Along the Black Sea coast, skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. In the morning, there will be a light to moderate west-northwest wind, shifting in the afternoon to east-southeast. Daytime highs will be between 18°C and 23°C. The seawater temperature is 14°C-17°C. Sea state around 2 on the Beaufort scale.

The weather will be cloudy in the mountains. Around and after noon, brief rain showers and thunderstorms are expected mainly over the Rila-Rhodope region and the central Balkan Mountains. Winds will be moderate from the west-northwest, shifting to north-northeast during the second half of the day. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 15°C, at 2,000 meters around 7°C.

On Wednesday, the weather will be changeable. There will be periods or sunshine, but cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will also develop. Brief showers accompanied by thunderstorms are expected in the eastern regions and the mountains. There will be light to moderate northwesterly winds. Daytime temperatures will range from 19°C to 25°C.
