“Medal” marks the beginning of Mihaela Marinova’s upcoming mini-album

Mihaela Marinova is presenting her latest single, offering her fans a glimpse of her upcoming artistic direction. The song is titled “Medal” and opens the singer’s forthcoming mini-album. Mihaela wrote the music and lyrics in collaboration with her longtime creative partner and friend Pavel Nikolov (Pavell).

Here is what they say about the message behind it:

“‘Medal’ is not a song about victory in its traditional sense. It is a song about rejecting empty words, artificial relationships, and overcoming the constant need for external approval.”

This concept is also reflected into the music video for “Medal,” where Mihaela gradually sheds external glamour and thus reaches her true self.

The song is released just days after the singer announced her first solo concert in Hall No 1 of the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, scheduled for November 28, 2026.
