Heavy truck traffic at Bulgaria's borders with Turkey

Heavy truck traffic traveling to Turkey through the border crossings "Kapitan Andreevo" and "Lesovo" is intense, the Border Police reported.

Traffic is normal through all other border crossings and crossings along the borders with Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania.

At the border crossing Ruse-Giurgevo, repairs continue on the Bulgarian part of the bridge over the Danube River and traffic is regulated in one lane.

From May 20, the speed limit of 30 km. per hour in front of the border crossing "Kulata" has been lifted and traffic in one lane, due to asphalting of a 200-meter section, the Road Infrastructure Agency reported.
