The “Fida” trio will perform a concert on May 20 in Bratislava on the occasion of May 24 - the Day of the Bulgarian Alphabet, Education and Culture and Slavic Literature. This was announced by the Bulgarian Cultural Union in Slovakia on its Facebook page. The event will start at 6 p.m. local time at the “Zici” Palace in the Slovak capital. Admission is free.
The Bulgarian Cultural Union indicates that the concert is part of the Festival of Bulgarian Culture and Art in Slovakia and the program of the cultural summer of the Stare Mesto district in Bratislava.
“Fida” trio is an impressive Bulgarian vocal ensemble that combines the magic of traditional folklore with a modern sound,” the organizers note. The Festival of Bulgarian Culture and Art in Slovakia is financed by the Fund for the Support of Minority Culture and is held under the patronage of the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Slovakia Snezhana Joveva-Dimitrova.
Meanwhile, Denitsa Sekulicka, President of the Bulgarian Cultural Union in Slovakia, has convened a general meeting to be held on May 22 at 5 p.m. at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Bratislava.
