Good conditions for tourism, but storms are expected

Conditions for mountain tourism are currently favorable, but a rapid deterioration in weather is expected. The Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross warns of possible thunderstorms and strong winds in higher-altitude areas.

Rescue teams advise hikers to avoid exposed ridges and open terrain and to remain in forested areas where possible. In higher mountain zones, snowdrifts are still present, posing a significant risk of slipping and falling.
