Sofia Metro starts to put in operation eight new trains

The Sofia Metro is starting to put into operation the first of a total of 8 new metro trains. They will be presented at 09:30 at the Obelya metro depot. The event will also be attended by the Mayor of Sofia, Vasil Terziev. The new Skoda metro trains are part of the modernization of the Sofia Metro. The first four trains will start carrying passengers and will operate on lines 1, 2 and 4. Their introduction into operation will be carried out in stages.
