Repair of Vidin - Vratsa road will complicate traffic in Northwestern Bulgaria

Truck traffic is intense at the "Kapitan Andreevo" border crossing with Türkiye, the Border Police reported. On the borders with Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania, traffic is normal through all crossings. At "Ruse - Giurgiu" the repair of the Bulgarian section of the bridge over the Danube River continues and traffic is regulated in one lane.

From May 26, emergency repairs of 57 km of the first-class road Vidin - Vratsa on the territory of the districts of Vidin, Montana and Vratsa start. The estimated completion date is at the end of June, the Road Infrastructure Agency announced.
