Normal traffic reported at all border checkpoints

Traffic is normal at border crossings and checkpoints with all neighboring countries, the Border Police announced. At the Ruse–Giurgiu border crossing with Romania, repair works continue on the Bulgarian section of the Danube bridge, and traffic is being regulated in a single lane.

From May 27 to May 30, between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m., access to the emergency lane between kilometers 218 and 229 of the Trakia Motorway in the direction of Burgas will be temporarily restricted in stages, the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) said.

The temporary traffic organization near Stara Zagora is due to geodetic surveying in connection with an upcoming repair of the section. RIA urges drivers to follow traffic signs strictly, drive carefully, and keep a safe distance.
