No queues of trucks or passenger cars at the Bulgarian borders

Traffic at border crossings and checkpoints with neighboring countries is normal, according to the Border Police. At the Ruse-Giurgiu border crossing, repairs continue on the Bulgarian section of the bridge over the Danube River, and traffic is being regulated in a single lane.

One person was killed and 36 were injured in 32 serious road accidents across the country over the past 24 hours, according to the Traffic Police. Since the beginning of the month, a total of 533 serious accidents have occurred, resulting in 37 deaths and 642 injuries.

Since the beginning of the year, 162 people have died and 2,782 have been injured in 2,245 road accidents nationwide. Compared to the same period in 2025, the number of fatalities has increased by 20 people.
