Customs Agency and UK partners strengthen cooperation

National Customs Agency Director Nikolay Shushkov held a working meeting with representatives of the UK’s Revenue and Customs Authority, the National Crime Agency, and the Home Office.

The meeting, held at the Central Customs Directorate, highlighted the strong cooperation between the National Customs Agency and British institutions. Both sides noted that their mutual cooperation will continue and further develop, including under the programme to counter the smuggling of small boats and in training customs detection dogs, as well as in combating drug trafficking and the illicit trade in tobacco products, and in the exchange of operational experience among customs officers.
