Foreign Ministry condemns the incident in Galați caused by Russian armed drone

Bulgaria strongly condemns the incident in Galați early this morning caused by Russian armed drone, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on X. “Such irresponsible acts endangering European security are unacceptable. Bulgaria stands in full solidarity with Romania”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added.

A Russian drone entered Romanian airspace and hit the roof of a 10-story residential building in the town of Galați, causing a fire, the Romanian Ministry of National Defence said in a statement this morning, BTA reported.

According to the Romanian radio station Pro Lider FM, the building sustained serious damage, and two people suffered minor injuries. Nearly 70 people were evacuated.
