Traffic at the “Kapitan Andreevo” border crossing is intense at the exit for trucks going to Türkiye, the Border Police reported. Traffic is normal at the border crossings with Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania. At the Ruse - Giurgiu border crossing, major repairs to the Bulgarian section of the bridge over the Danube River continue until the end of the month and traffic is regulated in one lane.

From June 1 to 5, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., traffic in the active lane on a section of the “Struma” motorway near the exit from Sofia will be gradually limited to renew the road markings - from km 0 to km 10. Traffic will be redirected to the free lanes, the Road Infrastructure Agency announced. Markings are also renovated on sections of the republican road between Bailovo - Smolsko, Eleshnitsa - Elin Pelin - Novi Han. Sections of the Dobrich - Balchik road will also be closed to traffic gradually due to repairs. Traffic will be stopped during the day hours until 8 p.m. and will be redirected to bypass routes.
