Rain across the country, heaviest in Central Balkans and Southwestern Bulgaria

On Tuesday, the lowest temperatures will range from 11°C to 16°C, around 12°C in Sofia. During the day, cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will develop, bringing showers and thunderstorms to many parts of the country. The most intense weather is expected in the Central Balkan region and Southwestern Bulgaria. Hail is also possible there. Maximum temperatures will range from 21–22°C in Eastern Bulgaria to 27–29°C in some southwestern regions. In the capital city, maximum temperatures will be around 24°C.
Along the Black Sea coast, cloud cover will be mostly considerable, with rain in many places, becoming more widespread along the southern coastline during the afternoon. There will be a moderate east-southeasterly wind. Daytime highs will be between 22°C and 24°C. The seawater temperature is 19–20°C. Sea state 3 on the Beaufort scale.
In the mountains, cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will develop, with significant weather activity over the Central Balkan Mountains and the Rila-Rhodope massif. Hail is also expected. There will be a moderate to strong westerly winds. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 18°C, at 2,000 meters around 12°C.
On Wednesday, the atmosphere will remain unstable. The morning will be sunny across most areas, but around and after midday until midnight, cumulonimbus clouds will develop. There will be brief showers and thunderstorms in many places. Hail is also expected. A southwesterly wind will bring warmer air.
