Traffic at the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing is heavy for outbound freight vehicles heading to Türkiye, reported the Border Police. Traffic is normal at all other border checkpoints in the country.

At the Ruse–Giurgiu border crossing, repairs on the Bulgarian section of the bridge over the Danube River continue, and traffic is being directed through a single lane. On June 4, due to technical requirements related to the repairs, the bridge will be closed for 12 hours for passenger vehicles and 16 hours for freight vehicles, the Road Infrastructure Agency warns.

During the past 24 hours, 19 serious road traffic accidents were registered across the country. Twenty-five people were injured. Since the beginning of the year, 169 people have died and 2,901 have been injured in 2,347 traffic accidents.
