The 150th anniversary of the death of revolutionary and poet Hristo Botev was marked with the traditional national pilgrimage to Okolchitsa Peak, correspondent Iva Antonova has reported. Heavy rain accompanied the enthusiasts who were the first to complete the trail "Kozloduy - Okolchitsa", but for the ceremony of veneration of the memory of Botev and those who died for the freedom and independence of Bulgaria, the sun shone on the steep slopes of the Balkan Mountain, where Botev was killed 150 years ago.
