Danube Bridge at Ruse to close temporarily for repairs on June 4

Traffic on the Danube Bridge at Ruse will be suspended temporarily on June 4 due to ongoing repair works, the Road Infrastructure Agency said. Passenger vehicles will not be allowed to cross from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., while heavy trucks will face a full 24-hour restriction from 9 a.m. on June 4 until 9 a.m. the following day. The major renovation of the bridge is scheduled for completion in June 2026.
