Traffic at the “Kapitan Andreevo” border crossing in the direction of Türkiye is intense, the Border Police report. Traffic is normal at the border crossings with Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania. At Ruse-Giurgiu border crossing, repairs continue on the Bulgarian section of the bridge over the Danube River and traffic is being redirected to one lane. On Thursday, June 4, traffic on the bridge will be stopped from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. due to technological tightening of a concrete joint, the Road Infrastructure Agency reports.

Traffic restrictions on two sections of the “Trakia” highway in the region of Yambol are being introduced from 6 p.m. on June 3 to 6 p.m. on June 5. Because of repairs, the traffic organization in the lane towards Svilengrad between the 27th and 29th km of the Maritsa highway has been changed. Traffic will be in the overtaking lane with a speed limit of 50 km/h. The repair work is expected to continue until mid-July.
