Traffic is intense for outbound freight vehicles at the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint on Bulgaria's border with Türkiye, the Border Police said.

Traffic is normal at all border crossings with Romania. At the Ruse–Giurgiu border crossing, repair works are underway on the Bulgarian section of the bridge, and traffic is being regulated. Due to the construction works, traffic on the Danube Bridge at Ruse will be temporarily suspended. Passenger vehicles are restricted from crossing between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., while heavy trucks will face a 24-hour restriction, from 9:00 a.m. on June 4 until 9:00 a.m. on June 5. Traffic is normal at the borders with Greece, North Macedonia and Serbia.

Over the past 24 hours, firefighters extinguished 38 fires, with no civilians injured, reported the Interior Ministry's Fire Safety and Civil Protection Directorate General.

Thirty-two people were injured in 26 road accidents over the past 24 hours, the Interior Ministry said. Since the beginning of the year, 169 people have died and 2,963 have been injured in 2,397 traffic accidents.
