Rain showers to ease as temperatures climb on Friday

Showers and thunderstorms across western Bulgaria will gradually subside overnight. By Friday morning, rainfall is expected to stop in most parts of the country. 

Friday will begin with sunny spells, but cloud cover will increase during the afternoon, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms to some areas. Winds will be light to moderate from the east, while daytime temperatures will rise to between 25°C and 30°C, reaching around 26°C in Sofia.

In the mountains, afternoon showers and thunderstorms will remain likely, with temperatures reaching about 21°C at 1,200 metres and 14°C at 2,000 metres.

Along the Black Sea coast, skies will be mostly cloudy before noon but will clear later in the day. Temperatures will range between 21°C and 24°C. Sea water temperatures will be 19°C-21°C, with slight sea conditions.
