Traffic at the entrance for trucks is heavy at the "Kalotina" border crossing, the Border Police announced on Monday morning. Traffic is normal at the border crossings with Türkiye, Greece, North Macedonia and Romania. At the Ruse - Giurgiu crossing, repairs continue on the Bulgarian section of the bridge over the Danube River until the end of the month and traffic is regulated in one lane.

The emergency temporary bypass of the landslide between Pamporovo resort and the town of Smolyan will be open to traffic on June 8. After more than a month of difficulties, the emergency bypass is completely ready. The temporary route is nearly one and a half kilometers long. The new temporary bypass will be used mainly by those working in the resort, and if possible, other vehicles will also be allowed to pass, but not vehicles over 3.5 tons, Radio Plovdiv reports. From June 8 to 11, traffic will be limited in one lane from 60th to 89th km of the Trakia highway at night for repair work. During construction work from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m., traffic will be redirected along the Momin Prohod - Kostenets - Belovo - Pazardzhik road.
