On Tuesday, the lowest temperatures will range from 13°C to 18°C, around 13°C in Sofia. It will be mostly sunny before noon. Around and after midday, cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will develop mainly over the mountains and Northeastern Bulgaria, bringing isolated showers and thunderstorms in some areas. There will be a light east-northeasterly wind. Maximum temperatures will range from 27°C to 32°C, while along the Black Sea coast they will be between 22°C and 26°C. In the capital city, maximum temperatures will reach 28°C.
The weather will be mostly sunny along the Black Sea coast. Visibility will be reduced in some places during the morning hours. In the afternoon, there will be temporary increases in cloud cover, mainly over the northern coastline, where isolated light showers are possible. There will be a light to moderate east-southeasterly wind. Daytime highs will reach 22°C–26°C. The seawater temperature is 20°C–22°C. Sea state 1–2 on the Beaufort scale.
In the mountains, it will be mostly sunny before noon. Around and after midday, cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will develop, and in some places—mainly in the Rila-Rhodope massif and the western and central parts of the Balkan Mountains (Stara Planina)—there will be brief showers and thunderstorms. A light to moderate east-northeasterly wind will blow, while on the highest peaks the wind will come from the northwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 22°C, at 2,000 meters around 14°C.
On Wednesday morning, sunny weather will prevail over most areas. Later in the day and into the evening, clouds will develop, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms. Hail is also possible in isolated areas. Temperatures will continue to rise.
