Traffic is heavy at the Kalotina border crossing with Serbia for passenger vehicles entering Bulgaria, the Border Police reported.
Crossing conditions at all other border checkpoints with Turkey, Greece, North Macedonia, and Romania remain normal.
At the Ruse-Giurgiu crossing, repair works on the Danube Bridge continue, and traffic is being regulated in a single lane.
Traffic through the Blatino Tunnel on the Struma Motorway toward Greece will be partially restricted on June 9 and 10 due to lighting replacement works, according to the Road Infrastructure Agency. On June 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., passage through the tunnel in the direction of Blagoevgrad will be suspended. Traffic will be conducted in both directions through the tunnel tube heading toward Sofia, with a speed limit of 50 km/h.
