Stoeva Sisters start Sydney badminton tournament with convincing victory

Stefani Stoeva and Gabriela Stoeva started with a victory at the HSBC BWF Badminton World Tour Super 500 in Sydney, Australia, which has a prize fund of USD 500,000, BNR’s Horizont channel reported.

The European champions, seeded No. 3 in the women’s doubles main draw, recorded an easy win against qualifiers Priska Kustiadi and Maureen Clarissa Wijaya of Australia, 21–6, 21–7, in 24 minutes. Their next opponents will be Audrey Chang and Jasmine Yeung of the United States.
