Normal traffic reported at all border checkpoints

Traffic is normal at all border checkpoints with neighboring countries, reported the Border Police. Repair work on the Danube Bridge at the Ruse–Giurgiu border crossing is ongoing, and traffic will remain restricted to a single lane until the end of the month.

Over the past 24 hours, 27 serious road accidents occurred across the country, leaving 29 people injured. No fatalities were reported in traffic accidents during the period, according to the Traffic Police. Since the beginning of June, there have been 251 serious crashes, resulting in 324 injuries and 13 fatalities.

Firefighters extinguished 67 fires over the last day, including 21 that caused property damage, according to the Directorate General Fire Safety and Civil Protection.
