Traffic of passenger cars entering Bulgaria from Serbia remains intense

The traffic of passenger cars entering Bulgaria at the Kalotina border crossing with Serbia is intense, the Border Police has reported. At the other border crossings with Türkiye, Greece, North Macedonia and Romania, traffic is normal. At the Ruse-Giurgiu border crossing with Romania, the repair of the bridge over the Danube River continues and the crossing is regulated in one lane in the Bulgarian section of the facility.

Until June 19, due to the removal of roadside vegetation from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in both directions, entry into the overtaking lane and the emergency lane on the Struma motorway between kilometers 37 and 56 will be gradually limited, the Road Infrastructure Agency has reported.
